1. Data controller
KAMAK SA, a public limited company under Swiss law, Grenchenstrasse 5A, 2504 Biel/Bienne, Switzerland (UID: CHE-393.350.245), is the controller of the personal data collected through www.kamak.store.

2. Legal framework
We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where you reside in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Data we collect
Data you provide: first and last name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, the content of your messages, size and communication preferences.
Order-related data: products ordered, amounts, purchase history, returns and exchanges. Payment data (card numbers, etc.) is processed directly by our payment providers and does not pass through our servers.
Data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, language, pages visited, products viewed, referral source, interactions with our emails. This data comes from the cookies and similar technologies described in section 9.

5. Recipients of your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers necessary to run our business, who act as processors and are bound by confidentiality commitments:
- Shopify International Ltd (Ireland / Canada) — store hosting, order and customer account management
- Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay — payment processing
- Klaviyo Inc. (United States) — marketing and transactional emails, customer reviews, segmentation
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — advertising measurement and delivery on Facebook and Instagram
- Google Ireland Ltd — audience measurement (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads, Google Shopping)
- TikTok Technology Ltd (Ireland) — advertising measurement and delivery on TikTok
- Carriers and logistics providers — delivery of your orders
- Authorities and advisers — where required by law
6. International transfers
Some of our providers are established outside Switzerland and the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers rely on appropriate safeguards: the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection Commissioner, and/or certification under the Data Privacy Framework.
7. Retention periods
- Order data and accounting records: 10 years (Swiss legal requirement)
- Customer account: for as long as the account is active, then 3 years after the last activity
- Marketing data (newsletter): until consent is withdrawn, then deleted or anonymised
- Browsing data and cookies: as set out in section 9, at most 13 months for non-essential cookies
8. Security
The website is protected by TLS encryption and hosted on PCI DSS certified infrastructure. We limit access to data to those who need it and require the same level of protection from our processors.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit the site. We also use equivalent technologies (pixels, tags, local storage).
Strictly necessary cookies — essential to the operation of the site: cart, session, security, storing your consent choices. They cannot be disabled. Examples: cart, _secure_session_id, _tracking_consent, _cmp_a (Shopify), lasting from a few minutes to 1 year.
Preference cookies — remember your language, currency and delivery country. Examples: localization, keep_alive (Shopify), lasting up to 1 year.
Analytics cookies — help us understand how the site is used and improve it. Examples: _shopify_y, _shopify_s (Shopify Analytics), _ga, _gid (Google Analytics), __kla_id (Klaviyo), lasting up to 24 months.
Marketing and advertising cookies — allow us to show you relevant advertising and measure its effectiveness. Examples: _fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel), _gcl_au (Google Ads), _ttp (TikTok Pixel), lasting up to 13 months.
Your consent. Non-essential cookies are only placed after you give consent through the banner displayed on your first visit. You can accept, refuse or customise your choices, and change your decision at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site and place orders.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. This may however degrade certain features of the site.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw your consent, and receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, write to info@kamak.store. We respond within 30 days. Proof of identity may be requested.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or the supervisory authority in your country of residence in the EU — for example the CNIL in France.
11. Minors
Our products and website are intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16 without the consent of their legal guardians.

We may amend this policy to reflect legal or technical developments. The applicable version is the one published on this page, together with its update date.
